Graduates of the Nursing degree program serve the health needs of individuals in a variety of health care settings and are prepared academically and clinically to work in hospitals, nursing and rehabilitation facilities and doctor's offices. Experienced faculty bring a wide range of hands-on experience into the classroom, labs and clinical placements.
The program can be completed in either two years of full-time study or four years of part-time study.
This academic program is primarily designed for those who wish to enter the workforce immediately following graduation. Many graduates of the program continue their education at the baccalaureate level and beyond.

Students are involved in lecture and discussion classes as well as clinical learning experiences. The Nursing program partners with the region's largest health care institutions.
The department is a leader in providing nursing simulation for teaching and also provides a range of academic support services and resources.
The Weekend Option allows qualified students to complete the Nursing A.A.S. program by taking courses on the weekends. The One-Year Advanced Option allows qualified students to complete a Nursing A.A.S. degree (RN) and start their BSN in one year of study.
